Kenyan Flag Bracelets

Happy! Happy! Jamhuri (Independence) day to all Kenyans!!😍❀️

I am so, so, thankful to sweet God for helping us through the years, especially through this year that was very difficult for us economically.

Keeping in prayer our leaders and us too, to become more compassionate and help those who may be struggling, when we are able to. 🌸 Also keeping in prayer in God’s consolation and love the people who may have had difficult losses this year. πŸ˜”

In addition, happy ‘Our Lady of Guadalupe day’ to all who celebrate!😘

Carrot And Walnut Cupcake Deliciousness! πŸ˜

Carrot And Walnut Cupcake From Fully Baked Shop In Nairobi

“Food Like A Loving Touch, Or A Glimpse Of Divine Power, Has That Ability To Comfort”

Norman Kolpas

This quote came to me after I went through one of the most challenging weeks, three weeks ago, and one difficult day, I indulged into the amazing and delicious (and my favourite) Carrot and Walnut Cupcake from Fully Baked, that lifted me up a bit when I was so down (aka comfort food). πŸ˜‡

Sometimes it is okay to indulge in the bit of comfort God brings our way even if it is in the form of food or supportive and/or helpful family and friends as he sends his loving spirit to be with us to give us more consolation…πŸ’—

I’m really grateful from the depth of my heart and I thank sweet God for helping me and my family during the difficult days I had, and I am so grateful for friends who were there for me and are earthly angels! ❀️ And praying sweet God helps me too in the tough couple of weeks ahead and us all in our different situations in life!😍😘

Happy Thanksgiving To All Americans And All Who Celebrate!😍😘

πŸ’—πŸ˜Happy Thanksgiving!!😍😘

It has been difficult for me the last couple of days. πŸ˜” Challenges from taking care of my older parents where my dad disappeared for two days (as he has alzhimers), from the uncertainty of issues in my personal life in the future, due to drastic changes in my life and those in my family. πŸ˜”

However, I honestly am so grateful to sweet God for coming through in my dad being found and being brought home, and in holding me in his love, consolation, and compassion during my very, very, challenging days filled with 95% of worries, and deep anxiety for the present issues and for the future…πŸ’—

During these rough days…it is difficult to see the small things to be grateful for…like maybe having a pain-free-day, being able to see, being able to hear, having some water or juice or a beer to drink, having some food to eat, having a roof over our head, having somewhere to sleep, being able to understand what is going around us, etc. ❀️

πŸ’— We may not be where we want to be, or be who we want to be. ❀️🌻 But I hope for this moment…we try and just hold ourself in (divine) love and forgive ourselves for the errors and mistakes we did in the past (including what you may have done wrong one second ago). Hold yourself in love, love, love, and in forgiveness with compassion as you have tried the best that you could, with the information you had at that time in the past.πŸ’—

May we now re-start a new, living a bit more fully today…πŸ˜‡ with thankfulness of the simple things we have, as we try again in improving or building areas in our lives positively…and enjoying each moment with sweet God who is also our friend and with love. πŸ˜‡πŸ’—πŸŒ»

Wishing everyone the joy of being thankful for the simple things in life (which can actually mean a lot even if they seem simple). And a calm holiday season…where we also learn to be more gentle towards ourselves.πŸ’—

Happy Thanksgiving!πŸ’—

Never Be Cowardly…

Hate Is Always Foolish,

Love Is Always Wise.

Always Try To Be Nice,

But Never Fail To Be Kind”! ❀️

Wishing us all days of kindness towards others and towards ourselves too! 😍😘

Accepting Different People β€οΈ

πŸ’— A Beautiful Purple Flower πŸ˜‡

It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences.

By Audre Lorde

This quote above reminds me of how as a society we have become so harsh on people including family, friends, and even neighbours because of expressing views (especially political, or religious views), or by being physically different because of their culture, tribe, and/or lifestyle. πŸ˜”

At heart, I feel as long as the person’s views are not causing harm to others or themselves, we could try and understand that all people are created differently and have had different life experiences. ❀️ This causes us all to see and relate to the world differently. ❀️

While it is okay to follow your beliefs (again as long as your beliefs don’t cause you and others harm), it may not be okay to force someone to ‘think’ the same, or ‘be’ the same as you or to ‘change their culture’. πŸŒ»πŸ’— Neither is it okay to belittle them because of their differences. However, healthy discussions on our differences and even different views (like politics and beliefs) without discrimination and insults are okay. ❀️

I pray we remember at heart to be more compassionate to other’s differences. It is okay for others to be their unique self. 😍 By being themselves, they don’t mean to threaten you or your beliefs, but they are being who sweet God created them to be. 🌻 This is also a good reminder to people who ex-communicate you because of who you uniquely are. ❀️

I hope we try and remember it is okay to celebrate our differences and join others in celebrating theirs. πŸ’— That we are more than a political side or tribal difference, and instead we are people working for the best for each other and humanity. 🌻

I love how in the bible, Jesus reminded the Pharisees, that just because a person was a ‘Samaritan’, or ‘Gentile’, or sick with leprosy, did not mean that they were unloved by God or should be excommunicated, but instead, all are included in God’s love.❀️❀️😘

Wishing us all days where we try to be more tolerant of others differences.πŸ’—

May we be more kind hearted people / kind hearted Kenyans.
